Hi, my name is Juan Carlos (aka J.C.) and I own 3 comfortable, well decorated, fully equipped apartments available for rent in Santiago. These apts. are all located in the same 5 year-old building in the heart of the Bellas Artes area, one of the most trendy, beautiful and best located neighborhoods in downtown Santiago. The surrounding architecture, which combines both classic and modern styles, the charming cafes on every corner, the Bellas Artes Museum, the Parque Forestal, and the youthful environment all make it a really fun place to live. Just bring your luggage... the rest is already here!

Testimonials

- The best place to stay in Santiago center, very cozy and romantic...  Ekaterina Maiorova (Russia)

- Great place to live- close to everything, museums, coffee shops, restaurants- you will be living in the  Soho of Santiago. The apartment  is perfect for two people, clean, modern ( great home theatre equipment), functional. It has all you need for a short or long stay in Santiago. Sebastian Dávila (Colombia)

- My boyfriend and I are from the U.S. and lived in this apartment while studying abroad in 2008. We couldn't have found a better place (and spent many hours searching)! The size is perfect and it is well furnished. It is new, clean, has a washer and dryer, and a great shower. It is awesome to be right by the metro stop, cafe's, boutique's, the art museum, and Parque Forestal. It is in such a cool part of the city! We felt very safe as well. The landlord, JC, helped us with anything we needed. It is a great place to live! ***** 5 stars. Jessica Raina (U.S.A.)

How to Rent one of my apartments:

Please read carefully before contacting me

Rent Price:

The rent prices varies for each apartment according to its features and the length of your stay. Please refer to the Price List above to find out how much it would cost you to stay in one of them.

Utilities:

When you rent one of my apartments all expenses are included in the price, that is; electricity, hot & cold water, gas, wi-fi and building utilities. There are no hidden charges of any kind and you will just pay what is listed on the price table above. Nevertheless all utilities have limits, which are very ample, and you should never go beyond them as long as you don´t leave the lights on when you go out, take 20 minute showers, etc.
  • WINTER DISCLAIMER: During winter time heating is the only utility that is not included (May, June, July, August). Nevertheless I do provide a stove heater that uses a gas tank which is easily delivered to the apartment by the gas people and the cost is about CH$6.000 per tank and lasts about 7 to 10 days.
  • CABLE DISCLAIMER: Cable is not included in the price. Local channels look great through the bulding's antenna but if you wish to have cable this would be optional (about CH$20.000 to $24.000 per month). Please mention this on your contact form so I can send you all related info.

Reservations:

To make a reservation I do require a non-refundable deposit. The amount will depend on the length of your stay. If you are already in Santiago and need the apartment right away we will skip the reservation deposit, of course, and you will just have to pay the corresponding rent money.
  • For stays of 1 to 6 weeks the reservation deposit is 50% of the rent price. The remaining 50% will have to be paid at check-in time.
  • For stays of 7 to 8 weeks the reservation deposit is 30% of the rent price. The remaining 70% will have to be paid at check-in time.
  • For stays of 2 or more months the reservation deposit is 1 month´s rent. Then, at check in time, and every month on the same date, you would have to pay a month's rent.

Security Deposit:

All tenants must pay a security deposit at check-in time of CH$150.000, which I return in full at check-out time, providing there are no damages to the property and that you didn´t exceed any of the utilities limits. You can also pay this money in US Dollars if you don't want to risk fluctuations on the exchange rate by the time you leave.

How to pay:

To make your reservation or security deposit or to pay your rent I accept wire transfers or direct deposits into my personal Bank of America account in the USA, or BCI account in Chile. Also I accept PayPal transfers and the not-so-popular and more expensive way; Western Union.
